Stretch Goals, Local Demo and Solo Playthrough

3,000 Backers & £150k Stretch Goal Unlocked!
We’ve just hit an incredible milestone—3,000 of you have now backed Fame and Fable, and we’ve surpassed the £150k stretch goal! Thank you so much for your support!
Stretch Goals
We’ve just unlocked a really exciting addition—new storytelling cards that delve into the journeys of our four heroes. Fame and Fable has always been driven by theme, and these cards will add a little extra narrative for those that seek it.
For those more focused on gameplay, don’t forget our £100k stretch goal: two Spell Scroll cards. These single-use magical items will be added to the item deck for even more strategic choices.
Next up at £200k is a brand-new ally—The Watcher! This mysterious character features all-new artwork that’s a little bit weird. I can't wait to reveal them, so I'll be keeping a close eye on pledges as we push toward that goal!
Play Fame and Fable In Person!
If you're near Worthing, you can get a hands-on preview of Fame and Fable! I’ll be bringing a couple of prototypes to Comics, Games and Coffee (CGC) on the evening of March 4th. It’s a casual event, first come, first served—but CGC has a great game collection, so there’s plenty to keep you entertained while you wait.
Live Solo Playthrough
Many of you have asked for a full playthrough, and I’m happy to deliver! The fantastic Board Game Garden will be streaming a LIVE solo playthrough on Thursday at 7 PM EST (midnight UK time). I’ll do my best to stay up for it, but I’m eager to see how she fares against the monster hordes! (A recording of the event will be available to watch afterwards).
For those more interested in multiplayer gameplay, stay tuned—I’ll have an update on that soon.

The incredible start has continued. More than 2800 of you have chosen to back this game. Considering my funding target was around 250 backers, I am delighted by your collective response. More than 2000 of you have opted for the Legend Pledge and half of all the Vanguard Pledges have been snapped up already.

I am blown away!
What a phenomenal first day of the campaign! It took 9 minutes for us to fund. NINE minutes! It was (and continues to be) so far beyond what I had hoped or anticipated. I want to take a moment to thank every one of you for your support for this game. Your congratulations messages on here and Instagram have been an utter delight too.
So ... to business ... this is our first update as a fully funded campaign. What am I going to talk about? Well ... stretch goals, obviously! We flew straight past the first few and so far your contributions have helped us unlock no less than SEVEN stretch goals. Other big news is that Fame and Fable will be available as both German and Italian language editions. I will be working with the wonderful Board Game Circus for the German translations and Raven Distribution for the Italian market. Hopefully, we will have more language options by the time we reach the pledge manager so that all backers can choose an edition right for them.
